Growing up in Greensboro, North Carolina, Su had the privilege of having parents that were interested in landscaping and design. Going to home and garden shows were the norm for her family. Collecting “treasures” from cast offs and at antique shows were common practice. Repurposing and reclaiming were big in her family before they became popular and “green”. Gaining design insight from her Mother and hands on craftsmanship from her Father, Su developed the ability to see things from being in a raw state to a true gem. Elements from both parents have blended seamlessly in creating Su’s signature style: a transitional marriage of nature, space, lighting and color. Su is proud to have continued thriving business throughout the recession.
Since a great deal of her training has come from working in the field, Su has developed very realistic and practical knowledge of the industry. She takes a hands-on approach to design that is evident in her close client relationships and her desire to create a unique design.
